Product EOUL-71 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure Chinese Cinnamomum camphora var. glavescens (Ho-Wood) essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Ho-Wood essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: the Ho-Wood chemotype
Cinnamomum camphora var. glavescens — known as Ho-Wood — is a linalool-rich chemotype distinctly different from the camphor-rich classical camphor tree variety. Its softly floral-woody aroma resembles rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora), which is why it is commonly used as a sustainable rosewood alternative in cosmetics and perfumery. The high linalool ratio makes it well tolerated in skin formulations.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from China, where Cinnamomum camphora has been cultivated traditionally. It is produced by steam distillation from wood chips. Water vapour carries the volatile aromatic compounds at a limited thermal load, so the characteristic soft-woody scent profile is preserved.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting mature-skin serums, creams and facial oils
- Aromatherapy: calming diffuser blends, pillow sprays, massage oil bases
- Natural perfumery: woody-floral heart note, rosewood substitute
- Soap making: scenting cold-process soap
- Custom packaging: small-batch resale with your own labelling
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Ho-Wood oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
